INK Entertainment is Canada's leading lifestyle and entertainment company. Operating since 1982, INK Entertainment has demonstrated an enviable ability to read the pulse of ever-changing cultural times and tastes, responding with a host of successful enterprises, including critically acclaimed global restaurant brands Byblos (Toronto, Miami & Dubai), Weslodge (Toronto & Dubai), FIGO, MACHO Radio Bar, Estia, La Société (Toronto & Montreal), and STORYS Building; Canada’s largest Dance Music Festival VELD Music Festival; and a number of trendy clubs, including REBEL, Uniun, CUBE, Cabana Pool Bar and Dragonfly Nightclub.
Headquartered in Toronto and helmed by visionary entrepreneur Charles Khabouth, INK Entertainment's innovative approach, fusing dining, lifestyle, entertainment and design has led the company to team up with several significant industry partners including Loews Hotels & Resorts and Lifetime Developments for Bisha Hotel & Residences, the newest private label hotel and residence brand to originate in Toronto since The Four Seasons in the 1960s.
CEO and Founder of INK Entertainment, Charles has been a recognized entrepreneur, visionary and fashion icon in the Canadian nightlife scene since the early 1980's with Toronto's groundbreaking Club Z and legendary nightclub Stilife. His risky out of the box ideas and determined point of view have set the foundation and fueled the aspiration for a thriving hospitality industry in downtown Toronto. While his list of partners has included the likes of The Beatles and Cirque du Soleil, Charles has brought a strategic and trailblazing philosophy to an otherwise stereotyped industry. This has earned him a revered spot amongst Canada's elite as a transformer that has changed the face of entertainment and built INK to be one of the country's most reputable companies.
Charles has made a career of elegantly fusing together art and commerce, and continues to do so through his evolution in business and imagination. This has led him to expand his professional repertoire to include restaurateur, and hotelier. Pushing the envelope whenever he can, Charles appreciates shock value and has the keen intuition of giving the public what it wants even before they know it themselves.
Many of Toronto’s most successful hospitality ventures have involved Danny Soberano. A natural born entrepreneur and innovator, Danny has been at the helm of city favourites as Dinkel's, PWD, Marketta and Axcess since the age of 14. With a 40-plus year career in service and hospitality, one of his most notable achievements was the co-purchasing of Allseas Fisheries - exclusive distributors of fresh fish and seafood to major retailers - in 1986. With a finger on the pulse and the innate ability to drive strategic growth, Danny successfully built the company into one of the country's leading seafood businesses.
Offering a wealth of industry knowledge, Danny joined INK Entertainment as partner and President in 2002. Tasked with directing a range of long-term innovation and strategic initiatives for INK Entertainment, Danny's passion and expertise helped set the tone for the company's continual success. A self-described family man, Danny is also an active philanthropist committed to giving back. Regularly involved in fundraising initiatives, Danny supports a variety of charitable organizations including the Princess Margaret Foundation, Toronto General Hospital, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, and many more.
